The Cash App fees are based on the type of Cash App account you are using. Since there are two types of accounts viz. Personal account and Business account, thus you shall be charged according to that.

At the same time, you should not get disappointed by the fact that Cash App will charge you fees but instead, you should be happy that you can make transactions at the comfort of your home.

One more thing that is worth noting here is that the Personal account users are charged comparatively less than the Business account holders. Apart from this, if using the Credit Card facility, then the Cash App fees would be higher but not as high as you might be thinking it to be.

Here’s how much you are charged?

In case you have opted for the Credit Card option and linked it to your Cash App account, then you will be charged 3% of the money you have sent to somebody. This is not as much as you are charged on another platform and for some transactions you are not charged any Cash App fees.

In case you are making standard payments via the application, you will not be charged any fee for the same but may take up to 2-3 business days to complete. However, for making instant transactions, you will be charged a 1.5% fee of the total amount your sending or receiving.

On the other hand, if you are making Instant Deposits, you shall be charged $0.25 as the Cash App fees. While this was the fee charged by the Personal account users, but the Business users may incur a charge of 2.75% for making the transactions.

Conclusion:

In case you have enough time to make transactions and not in a hurry to do so, then you will not be charged an additional fee for the same, however, this is only restricted to the Personal account users. But, if a user needs to make an instant payment, the Cash app will certainly charge you an amount that is considered as the convenience fee.
