How do you modify your Air France reservations?

Have booked a flight via the Air France reservations portal and suddenly you got to change the plans and travel on a new date? Well, it’s not a problem anymore because you can always review as well as modify the Air France bookings you have already made. However, there are some pre-conditions for doing the same.

What can be modified?

Eligible users are provided with the facility to change the following details of their Air France reservations:

• Date of travel
• Time  of flight
• Or, your flight route
• Seating preferences
• Along with the travel class

However, you may or may not be charged for these modifications. You can learn more about the charges you will incur for these modifications in the section that follows.

Important: in case your new bookings are available at higher prices, you shall need to pay an additional charge for the same. At the same time, if the price of the bookings is decreased, Air France Reservations authority will provide you with the reimbursed amount.

The fee charged for modification of bookings

For modifications made by the airfrance.us or Self-Service portal:

• If you modify/cancel your ticket within the stipulated time, you shall not be charged any fee for this
• Also, there is no fee for the regeneration of any third-party bookings

For modifications made at the Airport

• If you only ask for the modification or cancellation of a ticket, you shall be charged $20
• However, if you request for the regeneration of the ticket, you will be charged $50 and no fee for full-flex fares

Method to modify your Air France bookings

• From any browser, go to https://www.airfrance.us/US/en/local/customer/webform.do?webformId=assistance-reservation-modification
• This will open the trip modification page on your screen.
• Here, you need to provide all the requested details one-by-one.
• After filling in the details correctly, you need to attach a file in support of your request.
• Once you are done, tap on the ’SEND’ option in red at the right of the page.

After the Air France Reservations authority verifies your details, it will fulfill your request and you shall be notified about the same via the contact details you have provided. In case of additional charges or service fees, you will be asked to make the payment as soon as your request gets approved.
