TADJ CIndustryA new study on employment trends by Roy Morgan Research claims Australians worked an estimated 1.52 billion hours in June, a drop from 1.575 billion for June 2008.But this drop is far from uniform across demographic groupings with older Australians, women and residents of the country's larger cities all working longer hours, Marketing magazine reports.The manufacturing, mining, construction and retail sectors have recorded a reduction in workloads while the hours worked in recreation, communication, finance and property have grown.
