A situs online Blog by Any Other Name

We all know the dream of quiting the job (or college) and going on the situs online ciruit full time. We know it happens, there are plenty of professionals out there making a good living playing poker. We will talk at another time about how many of those "professional poker players" owe more money then the gross national product of Lithuania.
But as we all also know those who can't do, teach or those who can't do, manage or those who can't do, write about those who do. Yes, there are a lot of poker blogs out here in cyber-space. None, of course, with the breadth of knowledge, skill, wit and humor to match PokerBlog.com, but again that is another story.
Where am I going with all this? Well in the best tradition of bloggers, I am heading for a link. If you are considering your own poker blog or any blog for that matter, here is little predictive story to show you where you might be in six months or a year out here in the blogosphere: After The Blogger High has Gone.
Back in Action at Harveys
LAKE TAHOE, NV--We're starting off the day with 31 players here at the WSOP Circuit main event. Click here to see a roster of who's remaining. Scott Clements and John Esposito are the biggest "names" still alive, but neither of them are in strong chip position.
Playing down to a final table of nine today. Will let you know what they're serving for lunch.
UPDATE: Esposito is out. And I was right ... today's free food for players (and sneaky media folks) is hot dogs. Complete with ketchup and mustard.
Also, I forgot where my room was
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ--Got off to an awfully slow start this morning. I was still drunk very tired when I dragged my worthless ass out situs online of bed and made the short drive from Harrah’s, where I’m staying, across the road to the Borgata.
The fog in my brain has yet to lift, and it’s hard to say exactly what happened last night, but here’s a good summary: We consumed alcohol.
Went out with a bunch of journos and WPT types. Over the course of the night, we ran into Layne Flack, who was, surprisingly, more banged up than me, and Jeff Madsen, who tried to get me to pick up an fat old woman (seen here, with me at her side). I declined. Also talked with TBR’s boy Gavin Smith, who ended up giving me a Cuban cigar.
Good Morning...er afternoon
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ--Day 2 here at the WPT Borgata Poker Open. They started with 249 players today, but a number have already busted.
Casualties this afternoon include Joe Sebok, Cyndy Violette, Steve Zolotow and David Williams.
On a weather-related note, still no sign of the sun. God hates Jersey. Probably because of this.
