India has seen massive development across various sectors over the past few years. However, child marriage in India is still one such evil that continues to come in the way of its holistic development. As per the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act (PCMA) of 2006, the legal age for marriage for women is 18 and for men is 21. But still, this evil exists in our society and backward areas of the country.
