Here, we are going to share some info about the various levels of Karate techniques. In Karate, the skill level hierarchy is divided in terms of belts. As one goes ahead in the league of Karate and keeps upgrading his skills, he climbs up the ladder of belts that are segregated in colors. It is very common to hear that a person who is enrolled in the karate learning experience shares his status by sharing the belt color that he has reached.

 

Let us take a deeper look into the various colors in which these Karate belt levels are divided. The belt basically ranges from white being the first one to black, which is the last stage/belt.

 

White Belt

The white belt is the first belt that you are given as soon as you enroll in any certified karate class or coaching. IF someone is given a white belt, then it means that the person has just started learning the art of Karate.

 

Yellow Belt

Here, we have the second or the yellow belt of Karate. If someone puts on a yellow belt, then it means that the newly joined person is now on the second stage. It means that the person has just got on the second stage of learning Karate, and now from the basic stances, they have started learning some defensive moves.

 

Orange Belt

Here, things start to get a bit advanced. Orange belt holders are the students of Karate that start their journey to master some moves.

 

Green Belt

When one student of Karate reaches the green level of the belt, it means that they have been learning the art of Karate for around a year now. So, it is obvious that they have mastered some mastery in some moves.

 

Blue Belt

The blue belt is given to someone when a student moves on a bit towards the pro levels and moves. It is not easy to reach this stage of the belt as it takes a lot of time.

 

Purple Belt

Purple belt students of Karate start their journey to learn and advance their footwork. The footwork in Karate plays a vital role, and it is not easy to learn or master it.

 

Red Belt

With the red belt of Karate, the student starts to help other newly joined students. This means that if someone has reached the level of the red belt, then they are quite ahead and learned in the world of Karate.

 

Brown Belt

As soon as the Brown Belt or the second last belt of Karate is given to someone, they start taking the role of teacher rather than a student. There are only a handful amount of students that are able to reach this level of Karate.

 

Black Belt

Black is the last stage/belt in Karate's form of defense. Reaching the level of a black belt means that you have completely mastered the art of Karate. There are only a few people on this planet that have reached this level of skillset.
