There have been claims that a few select players have been able to view their opponent’s hole cards, and thus make extremely difficult calls with rag hands for vast amounts of money. There are currently 3 accounts that have been suspended by Absolute and that are in the process of being analysed. The 3 players in question are ‘graycat’, ‘potripper’ and ‘doubledrag’. + These claims came about after these players had been playing suspiciously well, and had been making great calls in hands where almost any player would fold. These players were playing at some of the highest levels available on Absolute, and so there was a lot of money at stake. Some people believe that these players have gained access to a superuser account, which allows them to view each player’s sanghoki as they play. Another theory is that these players have found a hole in the software that they have managed to exploit to gain an advantage over their opponents. Either way, these are just theories, as there is no conclusive proof that anything shady has taken place on Absolute Poker. + The Absolute sanghoki team are adamant that nothing suspicious has taken place, yet they are taking these claims very seriously. Which is not surprising as such claims can severely damage the room’s integrity.
