Microsoft teams is an easy-to-use application that comes with a smooth interface. However, some small issues are here that some people may find hard to crack. One such issue about Team is how to share screens on teams. Here, we are going to share easy/simple steps that you can follow to share your screen on teams.

What Does Screen sharing mean?

Screen sharing is when a user chooses to share the entire desktop screen so that other users in the same room/meeting can see it. This is an extremely useful feature that solves a lot of issues. With the help of Screen sharing, one can share their work, presentations, and videos. Whatever you choose to open or play on your screen will be shared with everyone.

How to Share screen on Team?

When it comes to Microsoft teams, most options are very much out in the open. Similarly, the option to share your screen is also right there in the toolbar. Here are the steps that you can follow to launch this feature.

The Box and Arrow Option

In the bottom bar of your Team's screen once you enter the room is the toolbar/menu. Here, you can spot an icon in the shape of a box, and an arrow is pointing upwards here. If you find it hard to find the button, just look towards the red call ending button's left. This lies in the same bar where the mute and video option lies.

Launch Screen Sharing

Now, if you click the arrow-box icon from the bar, your screen will be shared instantly. Now, whatever you choose to open/run on your home screen PC is being displayed to everyone that is taking part in that meeting or who is present in the room.

Check out more settings

Now that you are sharing the screen, there are some things that you can do. While you are sharing it, you can still adjust your mic and video settings from the same bar and turn it off or on accordingly. Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that when you share your screen, the audio of whatever you choose to play will be shared. So, if any apps/sites are running some music, we suggest you turn them off first.

How to End the Call?

The ending of the screen sharing feature is fairly simple. On the lower tool/menu bar of the call, you have to click on the box-arrow icon again so that you end the screen-sharing experience.
