American Airlines Cancellation Policy states that the non refundable tickets cannot be refunded unless and otherwise they are cancelled before 24 hours of purchase provided the flight’s scheduled departure is not before 2 days from cancellation. Further there is no cancellation or change allowed for basic economy tickets for both domestic or international flights.
