+ CMA stands for credit monitoring arrangements also known as CMA Data which is a financial report used by a lending institution to appraise and analyze the financial position of a company before lending.

+ As per the current rules, the Reserve Bank of India has mandated all banks to prepare CMA for lending to large borrowers. Therefore, CMA Data is an essential report required for project loans, term loans and working capital limits.
